Medicine Hat, AB
We started up this morning from Shelby, MT. It was a cool morning. First time this trip that we had to turn on the heater to warm up the motorhome. We topped of our fuel tank in Shelby, hoping to minimize fuel cost in Canada. From Shelby north was just open Prarie land with just a couple of small settlements. We crossed the border at Sweetgrass, MT. The border crossing was about the easiest that I can remember going into Canada. Once we were in Canada, we traveled through farm land, all the way to Medicine Hat. After we got settled in Medicine Hat, we went into town to find a bank to get Canadian Currency, To our surprise, the exchange rate is about 4 1/2 cents per dollar in our favor. Tomorrow, we head for Regina, SK.
