Day 3

Salt Lake City, UT. We spent a few hours at the Family History Library, then went to Bruce's cousin's home for dinner. There was some excitement in Salt Lake City this afternoon. They had a rainstorm that broke several records. More rain in 15 minutes than is normal for the month of August. There was flooding in several areas around the city and surrounding areas. During the storm, the temperature dropped to the low 60's & high 50's. It was 97 deg yesterday and supposed to be 97 deg tomorrow. Fortunately, this all happened while we were in the Family History Library, and we missed the whole thing.
